Function: The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for the development and maintenance of Viracon’s supplier qualification program to ensure that new suppliers have capable and consistent processes for providing a quality product. The SQE will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of a supplier performance management system that can provide accurate and timely feedback on individual supplier performance as well as commodity performance. This position will also support the resolution of chronic and urgent supplier quality issues by directly interfacing with the suppliers' Quality Assurance personnel and coordinating with Viracon's Quality Assurance and Manufacturing personnel.
